Labasa regain top Spot

This comes as the Babasiga Lions edged Bic Power Electric Suva 1-0 this afternoon at Subrail Park in Labasa.
Labasa takes over the top spot from Ba, they are now with 32 points. Ba is second with 31 points and closely following is Lautoka who also has 31 points.
Taione Kerevanua scored the lone 45th minute goal against Suva today to secure three crucial points for Labasa who boasted the services of lethal striker Roy Krishna, Pita Bolaitoga and saw the return of Apisalome Turuva.
Suva will be out for a better result tomorrow as they face Nivea Savusavu at Subrail Park 1pm. Earlier this match was scheduled to take place at Ratu Ganilau Park.
Fiji FA competitions Jainendra Sukhu elaborated further.
“We have been informed that the Ratu Ganilau is not in a playable condition so in view of that we have decided to shift the match to Subrail Park, “he said.
Nivea Nasinu on the other hand picked up a 1-0 victory over Skipper Levuka in the Fiji Sun/Weet-Bix Southern Premier Division Football League played at Risikul ground in Suva.
