73rd Annual Congress

Bob Kumar, the Fiji FA Chief Executive Officer said the annual congress will take place on October 5th 2011 at 7.30pm #Kumar released the agenda today: #Agenda# A) A declaration that the Congress has been convened and composed, in compliance with the statutes: – (Notice of Meeting) # B) Approval of the Agenda# C) An address by the President# D) Appointment of five Members to check the minutes # E) Appointment of scrutineers # F) Suspension or Expulsion of members (if applicable) # G) Approval of the minutes of the 72nd Congress # H) Activity Report (Annual Report) # I) Presentation of the consolidated and Balance sheet and profit and Loss Statement – (Annual Audited A/C) # J) Approval of the Financial Statements # K) Approval of the Budget # L) Admission of membership (if applicable) # M) Votes on proposals for amendments to the Statutes, the Regulations Governing the application of the Statutes and Standing Orders of the Congress. (if applicable) # N) Discussion of proposals submitted by the Members and the BOC. # O) Appointment of independent Auditors# P) Dismissal of a person or a body (if applicable) # Q) Election of A President and 4 Vice Presidents (1 each South/ North and 2 West) # R) Any further items proposed by the members or the BOC #NOTE#1. Motions close with the CEO 14days before the Congress ie 20/9/11#2. Nominations close with the CEO 7 days before the Congress ie 27/9/11#3. Office of the President – Reg 40.3 of Article 4 states “ Only members of Fiji FA may propose candidates for the Presidents. Members shall notify the General Secretariat in writing the name of the candidate for the Presidency of Fiji FA at least 18 days before the congress. #
