Singh was elected as the FFRA President during their annual congress on May 29th 2010. #His nomination was later declared null and void by the Fiji Football Association President Dr. Muhammed Shams-UD-Dean Sahu Khan based on the reports he received from a FFRA executive. #Mohammed Kazim was thus appointed as the FFRA President while Singh sought for arbitration against the decision. #Sheik Mohammed Ibrahim, the Acting Fiji Football Association President shed more light on the situation. #“Mr. Singh’s nomination was declared invalid as evidence that time showed that Davender Mudaliar who nominated Singh was not a member of Lautoka referees. Dr. Sahu Khan the Fiji FA President then overturned the decision of the election and appointed Mohammed Kazim as the FFRA President. #“Mr. Singh then brought the matter forward to arbitration to fight against the decision. The independent arbitrator stated that in the financial members list of FFRA for 2008 and 2009 it clearly showed that Davendra Mudaliar was a member of Lautoka referees and awarded the decision to Mr. Singh,” Ibrahim said. #The Acting Fiji FA President declared that Mahendra Singh has now been reinstated as the FFRA President. # Fiji FA MEDIA#
