The Stallions beat Savusavu 2-0. #Day three of the Vodafone sponsored event started off with the two underdogs of the tournament battling each other. #It was Eran Underwood who scored a brace of goals once again to guide Nadroga. Underwood scored twice against Suva yesterday and was on top form again. #Following the goal less first half Nadroga started the second half strong and were rewarded when Underwood scored the first goal on the 40th minute. Seven minutes later Nadroga were awarded a penalty as Mohd Rahim handled the ball in the box and Underwood easily slotted in the second. #Nadroga later faced a major blow as their lethal striker Samuela Drudru was given the marching orders. #Nadroga coach Gurjit Singh says they need to maintain their performance in their remaining matches to stand a chance.#“The game plan against Savusavu was to go out there and score early goals. That did not happen but I’m pleased that the boys turned around things in the second half and we scored. Two wins from two games is a positive sign for us #but we will need to work hard in our remaining matches,” Singh said. #Full Time: Nadroga 2 Savusavu 0#Nadroga Goals: Eran Underwood 40”, 47”#Nadroga Caution: Ranjit Singh 48’; Isikeli Jeke Keli 40’; Jonas Naceva 37’#Nadroga Sent OFF: Samuela Drudru 57’#Savusavu Caution: Jonasa B 39’#Savusavu Sent OFF: Mohd Rahim 47’#Savusavu: 1.
