Dreketi feels the pressure

Their President Ami Chand, said the postponement due to the adverse weather conditions has only made their task harder. #Dreketi lost in the final of the 2010 Courts IDC to Tailevu Naitasiri. This year three Southern sides that are Nasinu, Lami and Tailevu Naitasiri have made the semifinals. #“Due to the various postponements I can say that we have lost a bit of momentum. We faced a similar situation last year when the finals were postponed to the following week and we had to come back to Suva to play in the final. #“We will have to go back home and then in just a matter of few days come back again. With only few days I do not believe that we will be able to train much and another major factor will be to gather the players,” Chand said. #Clashing with Tailevu Naitasiri in the semi final stage this time, despite the odds Chand believes that they need to rise to the occasion.#“The boys will not give their hundred percent as the long timeframe may have affected their mindset but we have to put that behind us and focus on the task ahead of us. We can win if we want to,” he said. #The semifinals of the Premier division will be held this Sunday at the Buckhurst Park. Nasinu takes on Lami at 9am. Defending champion Tailevu Naitasiri takes on Dreketi at 10.30am. The final will be held 3pm at the TFL National Stadium. # Fiji FA MEDIA # # #
