2012/2013 Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League #The time has come to welcome the 2012-2013 Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League season. #On this note I would whole heartedly like to thank our sponsors CJ Patel Group who have once again come on board to sponsor this prestigious event for yet another season. #This kind gesture by the CJ Patel Group of Companies goes to show their commitment towards the development of football in the country. #As many already know that the 2013 season will be a crucial one for all participating teams as the two bottom placed sides will be relegated at the end of the season. #The 2013-2014 season will see only eight teams in the Super Premier division. #This is in a bid to improve the standard of the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League and I would like to thank the bigger districts who have agreed to be part of double header clashes with the income to be shared equally. #Also this season a cut-off date will be set as only eights sides will qualify the 2013 Vodafone Fiji FACT and Inkk Mobile Battle of Giants tournament which will be played over 90 minutes. #The new Fiji FA administration is committed to see the progress of football in the country and the outcome of this new season will be vital one for us. #I would like to thank the fans who are indeed our most valuable asset. We look forward to a similar support in the new season. #To the players, team officials all the best. #A spot in the 2014 O-League awaits the winner of the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League and may the best team win. #Ultimate Cup#The national U17 squad is currently in camp and also playing in the Ultimate Sports tournament where they are getting exposure against overseas teams. #Two men’s and women’s from Australia and NZ are part of the Ultimate Cup and this should be a good hit out for players to prove their worth of being selected in the national side for the U17 and U20 Oceania Football Confederation playoffs. # Fiji FA MEDIA # # #
