Navua beats U23

Osea Rababoko gave the young U23 side a perfect start with a 9th minute goal but the celebrations were cut short when Navua equalised two minutes later through Sailosi Livatalo. #Shell- shocked U23 side tried to regroup but their campaign faced another major blow as Jesoni Takala extended Navua’s lead heading into the break. #The Intiaz Khan coached side which missed the services of their several key Rewa and Suva players but up a strong second half performance. #Navua despite missing stars like Pene Erenio and Seveci Rokotakala guarded their line. Late in the match #Beniamino came off the bench to score Navua’s third goal. Sheik Moshin covered the goalie’s role for Navua. #The Southern giants will be in action again this Sunday as they take on Weet-Bix Shop N Save Lautoka 3pm at Churchill Park. #Energizer 4R Electrical Ba will be in action twice this round.
