Three local referees Amitesh Behari, Rajnish Dave and Jainud Dean officiated at the 2011 Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Futsal playoffs which concluded last Friday at the Vodafone Arena in Suva. #Fiji FA referees director Chandra Segran says the local trio had a good outing at the playoffs. #He adds that it was a proud moment to see Behari and Dave officiate in the final between Solomon Islands and Tahiti. #“The trio had a very good outing at the OFC Futsal playoffs. They were complimented and to see two of them officiate in the final was a proud moment for Fiji FA,” Segran said.#“The OFC referees committee will meet some time later this year to decide which Oceania referee will go to Thailand to officiate in the Futsal World Cup and I’m positive one of our local referees will get the nod.” #Segran also complimented Balram Nair the Fiji FA referees association general secretary who was a referee’s assessor at the futsal playoffs. #“Balram and myself we both were the assessors at the playoffs.
