He made this comments as the national side bowed out at the semi final stage of the 2011 Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) U20 playoffs last Wednesday in New Zealand. #Fiji lost to overall playoff winner NZ 6-0 in the semi final. Later on the side lost to Vanuatu 2-0 in the third and fourth place match.#“I believe we need to re-look at the various structures we have put in place. We need to asses our programmes and see what we can do to make it better,” Ibrahim said.#“The team did not perform up to expectations but this playoffs is gone and in the history books. It is very important that we learn from our mistakes quickly and hope not to repeat it when the other national sides get ready for their competition.”#In pool play the Fiji U20 side won against American Samoa 5-1, drew with Papua New Guinea 0-0 and lost to Vanuatu 2-0. #NZ following their 3-1 victory over the Solomon Islands in the OFC U-20 final will go on to represent Oceania in the FIFA U20 World Cup.#The focus now turns towards the national futsal side which will be in action later this month.#Fans can expect some top level futsal as the best sides from the Oceania region head to Fiji for the 2011 OFC futsal World Cup playoffs. #Following the futsal playoffs then the senior mens and women’s team will be in line for action at the 2011 Pacific Games in New Caledonia. # Source: Fiji FA MEDIA# #
