Losing two crucial encounters on Friday to Labasa and Navua at the end was the downfall for Ba. #They bounced back today to defeat Nadi 4-0 and later needed to beat Nasinu by at least four goals to progress to the semi finals as Navua had drew both their two matches today. #Ba beat Nasinu 2-0 and fell short which saw Navua join Labasa from pool one in the semi finals. #Labasa will now face Tavua in the first semi final at 9am while host Suva will battle Navua in the second semi at 10.15am.#Tavua held tournament favourites Suva in their last pool match to a 0-0 to accompany them in the semi finals. #Pool one winners Labasa have stamped their mark in the 2010 Women’s IDC and will be a tough nut to crack. The Vanua Levu based side drew 0-0 with Navua today and later beat Nasinu 1-0 to top pool one. #Labasa women’s president Millie Lee says a win this Sunday would be a major boost for women’s football in the North. #“We have been preparing for the past few months and it is good to qualify for the semi finals and the girls are eager to put in the hard yards to win the womens idc.
