Greetings to all! #FIFA GOAL PROJECT III#As we prepare for the opening of the new Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) headquarters in Vatuwaqa, which is part of the FIFA Goal Project II, I’m pleased and indeed honoured to announce that our FIFA Goal Project III has now been approved. #The third goal project will a playing surface at the new headquarters property which will add to the already accommodation, administration, technical, media and dining facilities available at the location. #On this note I would like to thank the world football governing body FIFA and Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) for this assistance. A special vinaka vakalevu to Mr. Glenn Turner the FIFA development officer who has been an instrumental figure in securing us our third goal project. #The state of the art playing field will give us the luxury to accommodate the needs of the national teams and various development programmes. #I would like to assure all that Fiji FA will continue to look at means and ways which could help football further develop in this country. #O-LEAGUE 2011-2012#The Ba side plays their opening match of the 2011-2012 O-League season this Sunday at Govind Park. #New Caledonia based club AS Mont-Dore will be the first hurdle for Ba to climb. The first task is always the toughest but a good start this Sunday will no doubt will go down a long way in aiding Ba’s campaign in the O-League. #As I stressed in my last column, we all must unite and support Ba to do us all proud.
