Fiji Football Association vice president and national team director Tarunesh Reddy says while they are confident but do not plan to get over excited just yet. #Only 20 players will earn a spot in the squad for the playoffs. #“Preparation is going well and the boys are in the camp training hard under the coaching panel. #The boys are aware that we are four matches away from representing Fiji at the FIFA Under 20 World Cup,” he said. # “We know the road to the World Cup will not be easy as lot of work is required from the players and the coaching panel to guide the players to the right path. The team is really shaping up for the plays offs but at the moment we are concentrating on our first match against Vanuatu and we will take each game as it comes,” Reddy said. #Under 20 hopeful Rusiate Matarerega is adamant about Fiji’s chances at the playoffs later next month. #“We are preparing very well and the boys are working very hard and we will do our best in the championship.” 20 year old Junior Footballer of the Year said. #The OFC Under 20 playoffs will be held from 21to 28 of next month at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
