*The congress has passed the motion that official’s holding dual positions in Fiji Football Association and respective district associations cannot hold two positions. Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel said Yogeshwar Singh and Jiten Kumar who are holding Fiji FA vice presidents and respective district association president’s post will now need to choose one. #Patel said the Fiji FA board of control brought in this motion to see there is no conflict of interest and later decided that these officials could continue in both positions only until their terms expired but the congress decided otherwise and asked for immediate implementation. #*Fiji FA will call for an Annual General Meeting in Labasa. Rajesh Patel, the Fiji FA President said Labasa Football Association is in lot of problems. He said once an agm is called new set of officials will come and take the association forward. #*The Super Premier division will remain with 10 teams. #*Rewa FA has claimed a fee of $4000 for the release of their goal keeper Simione Tamanisau but Lautoka FA is claiming there is no signed agreement and there is no reason for them to pay. Lautoka FA and Rewa FA have been asked to sort out the matter. If it is not resolved then Fiji FA would have to step in. #*Labasa reps Ilisoni Logaivau and Kavaia Rawaqa seeking release to join Rewa denied receiving any money from Labasa FA when signing their new contracts. Fiji FA has asked Labasa FA to provide evidence of payments, if there is no evidence then Fiji FA would grant the release. # Fiji FA MEDIA#
