Dr Sahu Khan says the appointment process was currently in progress before Canosa officially selected to take over the national duty.
“We had discussed applications and also interviewed various coaches. Claudio satisfied our requirements and with his experience it will be a major advantage for us. He will be in charge of all the national teams,”Dr. Sahu Khan said.
Canosa, while based in Australia, coached various clubs and academy teams. During his playing days he featured as a professional first division player for the Racing Club, Central Northern and Barracas Central of Argentina. He also had few seasons in Bolivia with Real Santa Cruz and later with West Adelaide Soccer Club of Australia
The highest coaching accreditation the Argentine carries include a FIFA Pro Licence Part A and B with Soccer Australia Level 3 Licence along with various other accreditations.
