Tarunesh Reddy the national team director/Fiji Football Association vice president said they had mapped out their plans as the competition which will be held at Lawson Tama Stadium in Solomon Islands.#“Few players have withdrawn from the first camp with the likes of Esava Naqeleca, Peniame Drova, Zibraaz Sahib and Samuela Kautoga. Ba players arrived from Auckland and will be joining camp soon along with the other overseas based players,” Reddy said. #Reps released for League#National team director/Fiji FA Tarunesh Reddy says national senior squad members will be released to represent their respective districts in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League this weekend. #But Reddy stressed that district associations will need to bear the cost of the travelling expenses from the national camp in Ba and back. #“Players will be released for the national league but districts will have to bear the travelling cost from Ba to their districts and players will have to report back to camp on Monday. We will officially break camp next Friday and Fiji FA will cater for the return cost but for this weekend districts will need to accommodate.” #Nine U23 reps in senior squad#Nine Under-23 Olympic side players have forced their way in the national senior men’s extended 31-member squad which will prepare for the 2012 Oceania Football Confederation Men’s Nations Cup. #They are national U23 skipper Esava Naqeleca who was also named the best player at the Olympic playoffs, Misaele Draunibaka.
