Ba prepares for O-League opener

Acting Ba Football Association President Anil Amin says they need they have to bury the recent results behind them and be out for a positive start. #The Western giants picked up a close 0-1 loss against Lautoka during the Fiji Sun/Weet-Bix National Football League last Sunday at Churchill Park. #“The result against Lautoka was an unexpected but there is no doubt that Lautoka was a very good side,” Amin said. #“We need to leave all that behind and focus towards the O-League which is a different ball game where one needs to be on their toes. Ba has the depth in the squad to pull this one off and we are preparing positively and I suppose the onus will be on the players to deliver.”#A win for Ba this Sunday over AS Mont-Dore could set them in the right platform for the remainder of the competition as other tough clashes against New Zealand based #Waitakere United and Tahiti’s AS Tefana will be next in line. #Amin also said that the various district association presidents have been invited. #“Ba Football Association wishes to invite all the various district association presidents for the forthcoming O-League match this Sunday at Govind Park. Two tickets for each district have been allocated.” #The Acting president believes the support and prayers from the general public may just turn out to be an added strength for Ba come this Sunday. #Ba Football Association#Vice President Anil Amin has stepped in the role of Acting Ba Football Association President. #President Rishi Kumar, due to his work commitments has taken a leave from Ba FA. #Amin will act in Kumar’s absence effective from October 17th to November 17th, 2011. # Fiji FA MEDIA
