Nasinu protests against Savusavu

The Southern side who lost 1-0 to Savusavu last Sunday at Subrail Park in Labasa believes that Mohammed Zulfikar was not eligible to feature for the Northern premier division side. #Fiji FA chief executive officer Bob Kumar confirmed receiving Nasinu’s protest this past Tuesday. #Kumar says Savusavu has been notified. He says the protest hearing will take place this Saturday 3pm at Dr. Sahu Khan National Football Academy in Ba. #Meanwhile Nasinu secretary Ritesh Pal will need to appear before the Fiji FA disciplinary committee. #Jainendra Sukhu the secretary of the Fiji FA disciplinary committee says Pal was sighted for misconduct based on the referee Rajnish Dave’s report for the 2010 Promotion/Relegation match between Savusavu and Nasinu played last Sunday at Subrail Park in Labasa.#“It has been noted in the referee’s report that Ritesh Pal the Nasinu secretary entered the field forcefully in the 79th minute of the match and had an argument with the referee. According to FIFA laws no unauthorized person is allowed to enter the field of play.#“The report also stated that Pal failed to follow instructions of the fourth official who advised him not to enter the field of play. #“Pal has committed a serious offence for which he will need to appear before the Fiji FA disciplinary committee,” Sukhu said. #The second match of the promotion/relegation will be played this Sunday 3pm at the TFL National Stadium in Suva. # Fiji FA MEDIA#
