Labasa were thumped 0-5 by Rewa earlier on Friday night at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori. Heading into their second match of the weekend the Babasiga Lions were written off but that was not the case. #Nalinesh Reddy scored, a minute from full time to give his side their first victory in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League. #The Lions faced a major blow in the second spell when experienced Penaia Bale was sent off for his second caution. #On the other hand Rewa gained maximum points as they defeated Savusavu 3-0 at home. Up two –nil at the break it was evident that the Delta Tigers had just wrapped up yet another victory. #Ratu Semi Dileqa scored the home side’s opening goal on the 19 minute. Savusavu was later reduced to 10-men as Mosese Gadai was given the marching orders.
