Board chairman and Fiji FA Vice President, Mr Yogeshwar Singh said the opening round next weekend will see all neighbouring districts battle against each other.#He said the districts wanted to play closer to home in the opening round and all teams agreed to play their neighbours.#“In our meeting the districts decided to play their neighbours as it’s early in the season and expenses in the opening round is a factor for most districts.”# “We took in consideration the plight of the districts as we understand the districts will not have to pay more for travelling and other expenses.”#He said fans should expect a lot of fireworks in the first round as all teams are preparing well and will have a lot in-store for their fans.#“Ofcourse when the neighbouring districts clash, there is a lot of rivalry and solid competition. The Ba vs Lautoka and Rewa vs Suva games should bring a lot of crowd.
