Fiji FA Vice President and national team director Tarunesh Reddy said Krishna has the caliber and is the most respected footballer likewise Alvin.#Reddy said Krishna’s club, Wellington Phoenix, had agreed to release the Babasiga lion for one of two internationals against Vanuatu.#“He was available for the second friendly international scheduled for November 10,”said Reddy.#Reddy said the international friendlies would help improve Fiji’s international rankings.#”We had lot of commitment during the year and after the completion of the Pacific Games, we are now concentrating on our senior national team,” he said.#Reddy said an extended 34 member squad has been training for two weeks but some of the players were forced to pull out due to injuries.#“We have named a 21 member squad to travel to Vanuatu but the door will still be open for other players and request them not to be discouraged.#Reddy said preparation have been going very good and all players are fit and ready to face Vanuatu and they what the coach and the public expect.#Fiji FA had earlier announced friendly internationals against Solomon Islands as well in the upcoming window period from November 9-17.#But Reddy said FIFA advised Fiji FA only a maximum of two friendly internationals were permitted because players needed to be given enough recovery time.#”We requested FIFA about playing four internationals and they said no.
