Niumaia out for Redemption

Speaking to Fiji Football News the former Lautoka midfielder says he is out to return the favour to the Delta Tigers who are out to maintain their form which saw them bag two major titles last season. #“Last year I was out for half of the season and I only played the Inter District Championship and O-League. I was out of football most of time due to suspension but I thank the Rewa officials for taking me in and giving me a chance to redeem myself.#“My aim is to help Rewa win the Fiji FACT something which they have not done and the Champions League. I will do my best for Rewa, at the same time I will try to come back on form and maybe I can catch the eyes of the selectors for a spot in the National side for the Pacific Games,” Tagi said.#The stylish midfielder in his first match for Rewa played against his former Lautoka side last Sunday at Govind Park. #Tagi says he has no regrets departing the Sugar City side. #“As a footballer it does not matter who you play for it is the team that takes you in and cares for you. In return you need to be honest. I did not see any difference playing for Ba, Lautoka and now Rewa as I’m doing what I do best that is playing football which is something I love,” he said. # Fiji FA MEDIA#
