The talk of the lot has to be the Weet-Bix Shop N Save Lautoka side which thumped recent Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants champions Eveready Airpro Rewa 5-1 earlier this afternoon at Churchill Park. #Lautoka side showed the Delta Tigers why they were they were the national football champions of the country few seasons ago. #Rewa headed to the match with a sounding 2-0 over the Skippy Western Under-23 side last Thursday and seemed to be on track to secure yet another three points. #But their campaign got off to a worst possible start when defender Posiano Kalisito let in an own goal. #Just before the break both teams were reduced to 10 men as Lautoka’s Peni Finau and Meniusi Senibuli of Rewa were given the marching orders for a violent conduct. #Lautoka shifted to another gear as Vono Junior extended their lead in the new half. #Lethal Rewa striker Ratu Veresa Toma pulled one back on the 73rd minute but Lautoka went on to score three more goals to tame the tigers.
