After a goal less first spell, lethal striker Abbu Zahid scored the first goal of the match in the 54th minute. His fellow team-mate Noa Vukica added the second fifteen minutes later.#This marked the Skippy U-20’s second League victory this season. Last weekend they beat Sunquick Sigatoka Motor Spares Nadroga 3-0 at Lawaqa Park.#They will be in action again this Sunday when they travel to the TFL National Stadium to face Bic Power Electric Suva 4pm.#However Fiji Football Association Technical Director Saiyad Ali says the final U-20 squad for the Oceania Football Confederation playoffs will be finalised next month.#He says the final squad will travel few days prior to the playoffs to play some build up matches. The OFC U-20 playoffs will be held in New Zealand this April.#Ali added that the players in the current training squad who has been in camp for more than a year now have just the next few weeks to earn a spot.#“We are using the Fiji Sun/Weet-Bix National Football League as a build up to the playoffs. The idea is not to win the National League but give ample time for players.
