Fiji Football Association Technical Director Saiyad Ali says the side had their first training session early this morning. # #He added the National side was in high spirits and looking forward to their opening encounter against Papua New Guinea (PNG) 2pm on Thursday. # #“The girls have arrived safely in NZ and have settled in well. They had a session earlier this morning at the St Cuthbert’s College and will have another session this afternoon.# #“Tomorrow we will have a 45-minute session at North Harbour Stadium before tournament starts on Wednesday. We play our first game against PNG on Thursday.# #“The team is gearing up for the Nations Cup and the players are looking forward to their opening match. Everyone in camp is focused for the task which is ahead of us,” Ali said. # #National Women’s coach Ramesh Sharma is set to join the team in NZ tomorrow afternoon.
