An interim committee has now been appointed by the Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) board of control to run the affairs of Labasa football in the meantime. #Bob Kumar, the Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Officer elaborated on the reasons why the annual general meeting had to be called off. #“The annual accounts, annual reports and club registrations cannot be completed in time for the agm. Only few officials are left and after talking to them it would be wise to appoint an interim committee for the moment before things are in order for the agm,” Kumar said. #“The interim committee will look after the affairs of the Labasa football and get the administrative matters in order before an agm is called.” #Senior Fiji FA vice president Shiek Ibrahim backs the interim committee. #“This is the best way forward for Labasa football for the year 2012. We have got all kinds of people involved and I’m sure the programme that they have football will definitely improve.” #Interim Committee#President: #Bhim Raj Reddy (Retired vice principal of Labasa Sangam (SKM) College)#Vice Presidents: #Narendra Pillay (managing director of Pillay Garments)#Prakash Mani (manager-Punjas Labasa)#Robert Mudaliar (manager- Punjas West)#Anand Prakash (managing director of Anand General Motors, Labasa)#Mohammed Riaz (Mudaliar and Co) #Secretary#Satishwar Chand (Bayly Trust)#Assistant Secretary#Avinesh Kumar (School teacher)#Treasurer#Mohammed Faiaz (School teacher)#Manager#Anand Prakash (managing director Anand General Motors, Labasa)#Committee Members #Deo Sharan (manager Wildcat, Labasa)#Umesh Achari (manager Flour Mills, Labasa)# #
