National team director Tarunesh Reddy believes playing Vanuatu will not be an easy task for any team.#“We are not taking Vanuatu lightly in our first match at the playoffs as they have 11 experience players who have represented their country in the last OFC under 20 playoffs but our boys are focus and know the mission on hand,” Reddy said.#Playing Vanuatu at home would be an advantage for the home team Fiji but it is hard for any team to test the opponent’s strength that will be playing at the unfamiliar territory but with lot of passion for their country and sports.#“The players are told the importance of winning the first match in the tournament which will put a good platform for the team in the tournament.#All the team coming will be coming to win and Vanuatu is no exception and so are our boys.” Reddy added.#Ba striker Jone Salauneune is the lone player in the current 20 member squad for the OFC under 20 playoffs who have represented the country in the last under 20 tournaments.# # Fiji FA Media
