Only three referees from the Oceania region have been selected to officiate at this yearly event. They are Vulivuli (referee), Jacqueline Stephenson (NZ, assistant referee), Lata I Sia Tuifutuna (Tonga, assistant referee).
The Algarve Cup will take place from 2 to 9 March 2011. The workshop takes place from 24 February to 1 March 2011.
Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) chief executive officer Bob Kumar says they are happy to see Vulivuli progress in her young career.
“It is indeed good to see how Finau is progressing in her career. It is a proud moment to see that for the past few years she contionuosly been selected for the Algarve Cup,” he said.
“Finau is very close of getting selected in the 2011 FIFA Womens World Cup referees panel and the Algarve Cup will be a good chance for her to prove herself.”
