Slim hopes still alive for Lautoka

The Blues can still catch the Group A leaders Amicale FC on points if they win their last match and Amicale lose to Koloale FC but the vastly superior goal difference of the Vanuatu based club is something which is not in favour of Lautoka.#Amicale leads Group A with 10 points, they have an advantage of 12 goals forwards and just six against. Lautoka is second on the standings with seven points with just five goals forward and 12 against. #Match day six of the O-League will take place this Saturday when Lautoka travels to Papua New Guinea and battles Hekari United 5pm Fiji Time. Amicale faces off against Koloale FC at Lawson Tama Stadium in Solomon Islands 4pm Fiji Time. #Lautoka President Shalendra Prasad says they have opted for the services of their local based players for the match against Hekari.#“For this match against Hekari we will be using all our local based players. Valerio Nawatu and Krishna Samy are out of this match. Nawatu copped his second yellow card against Amicale while Samy was sent off,” he said.#“Hekari will be a very tough side to beat at home but we will be out to end our campaign on a high note.”#Auckland City from Group B has already booked a place in the O-League final and eagerly awaits the outcome from Group A to see who they face. # Fiji FA MEDIA
