National team director Taranesh Reddy said players who failed to report to camp on time have faced the axe. #Reddy said Osea Vakatalesau, Malakai Tiwa, Tuimasi Manuca, Pita Bolaitoga, Laisenia Raura, Beniaminio Mateinaqara and Peneame Drova have been dropped.#“Fiji Football Association will not run after players who are not interested to play nor have the pride for the national side,” Reddy said. #“We are planning for the future and our work started on Monday when the national side marched into camp. We have to maintain the discipline from day one and those that did not turn up were dropped.” #“Laisenia and Beniaminio have work commitments. Pita and Peniame have got family commitments while Tuimasi has stated his interest not to feature for the national side. #There has been no contact from Osea and Tiwa.” #Reddy also confirmed that no national squad players will be released for the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League this weekend. #“We have decided that no players will be released. The two test series against Play Fair Brazil side is next week and we cannot afford any injuries,” he said. #The squad will go through three sessions training a day as they prepare for the Vodafone sponsored series. #The first match is at Churchill Park in Lautoka on August 23 with the second game at Govind Park in Ba two days later.#Meanwhile Reddy said lethal striker Roy Krishna has joined the national side and looks in good shape. #Fiji FA MEDIA#
