Fiji South wins Ultimate Fiji Cup

This is after their 1-0 victory over Fiji West U17 squad.#In the 3rd and 4th place playoffs, International Football Group U17 was too strong for Capital Football U17 winning by 4-1.#Despite Fiji team’s doing well at the meet Fiji FA’s Development Officer Hussein Sahib was not a happy man.#“Players lost focus lot of the times and gave away possession easily.”#“This tour was mainly for them to learn, keep the ball foundation and the players were committing so many mistakes, there were not more then four passes completed,” Sahib says.#He says the two Australian teams displayed a better football despite recording losses and Fiji needs to learn a lot from them in terms of structured football.#“Physically they were not able to compete with Fiji but their structure, number of passes completed were excellent,”,Sahib says.#He says Fiji players were more interested in scoring goals and winning instead of completing passes and working on a structure.#The Fiji South U17 after the final win remained unbeaten in the competition.# Source- THE JET
