League board meets Northern Officials

Shiek Ibrahim, the league board chairman said the 2012 competition format for the Northern division was the main agenda during the meeting which was held at the Fiji FA office in Labasa. # #It has been decided that the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries Premier Division Northern National Football League will be comprise of five teams will kick off in June. #Jainendra Sukhu, the Fiji FA competitions manger explained on what was decided#He stated #• A total of five teams will participate that are Seaqaqa, Taveuni, Nadogo, Bua and Dreketi. Unlike in the past few seasons this year all matches will be played over 90 minutes. #• Total of 10, 90 minutes matches will be played. This will be held over two weekends. First weekend of matches will be held in Nadogo while the second weekend matches will be held in Dreketi. The remaining matches will be played as curtain raisers at Subrail Park before Labasa’s Super Premier matches. #• Taveuni will not take part in the U21 league due to the location. Four remaining districts will participate and matches will be accommodated with the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries Northern Premier Division Football League. # Fiji FA MEDIA#
