Lami remains undefeated after three rounds of the Fiji Sun/Weet-Bix National Football Southern Premier Division Football League and today’s victory maintains their pole position on the standings.#A strong start rewarded Lami as Chand scored the first of his two goals on the 17th minute. Mohd Azeel added Lami’s second just before half-time. #Chand got his second goal on the 68th minute. Ravinesh Naidu pulled one back for Tailevu North but it came a little too late as Lami held on for a 3-1 victory. Further blow for Tialevu North saw them being reduced to 10-men in the last ten minutes of the match. #Lami Football Association president Mohammed Sareem says the victory keeps them in the hunt to top the Southern Premier division. #“We are very happy with a victory against Tailevu North today but I believe we need to work harder for our remaining matches,” he said. #“With two wins and a draw I believe we stand a good chance to take out the Southern Premier division title.
