In the last international outing at the Oceania Football Confederation Women’s Nations Cup in New Zealand the national side failed to win a match and was bundled out during their pool matches. #Taking over the top job earlier this year Logaivau, said he has been working positively for a good outing in New Caledonia. #“The Fiji women’s side will be a very competitive one at the Pacific Games,” he said. #“We are not going there just to participate but compete to try and better our performance from the 2007 games where the national side claimed a bronze medal. We have a very balanced squad this time with few players from the Nations Cup, 2007 Pacific Games and a lot of young talent.
