Nadroga on Bye

Jainendra Sukhu, the national league board secretary/ Fiji Football Association competitions manager said the Stallions are not scheduled for a match this week. #He also believes the bye will be an ideal time for Nadroga to regroup after ordeal in Labasa last weekend. #“When teams return from Vanua Levu they are given a bye in the next round. In the case of Nadroga this will indeed give them time to regroup after facing problems in Vanua Levu last weekend,” Sukhu said. #Following a 2-2 draw against Labasa last Saturday at Subrail Park, Nadroga’s match against Savusavu had to be postponed. #It was believed that a case of food poisoning hit the Nadroga squad and around 11 players were said to be directly affected. #Shiek Ibrahim, the National Football League board chairman visited the Labasa hospital on Saturday night and later confirmed the postponement of Nadroga’s league fixture against Savusavu. #Nadroga is scheduled to travel to the capital next weekend to face Nadroga. # Fiji FA MEDIA# #
