Western giants Energizer 4R Electrical Ba and Weet-Bix Shop N Save Lautoka after a disappointing outing last round bounced back in style to claim huge victories.
Ba thumped Sunquick Sigatoka Motor Spares Nadroga 6-0 at Govind Park on Saturday while Lautoka delievered a similar blow to Bic Power Electric Suva’s campaign with a 8-1 victory.
Elsewhere Western based Angel Mackerel Tavua also turned few heads as they held Eveready Airpro Rewa 0-0 at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Sunday.
Tavua would now hope to maintain this performance and go one better as they try to get their season back on track.
In the other match played on Sunday Skipper Tuna Southern Forest Navua continues to progress in the National League as they edged Royal Tea Nadi 2-1 at Prince Charles Park. Navua with two extra games on hand has now moved to fourth place.
Puma Central City Hardware Labasa was not in action during week ten of the National League but remains unbeaten and on top with 24 points.
