A total of eight teams which qualified through the zonal playoffs are part of the NCC.#First match of the NCC saw a major upset during the all Ba clubs clash. Kings United pulled off a 1-0 victory over NCC contenders 4R Electrical. Ba district team striker Kitione Tabaivalu scored the lone goal of the match to guide Kings United.#Defending champions Southern Forest also made a strong start beating Nadi based Malolo 4-0. Maciu Dunadamu claimed a hat trick while Sedrick Dutt also got one.#Rewa club Raymonds thumped Police Soccer Club of Labasa 5-0 but the same outcome was not to be of their fellow district club. Lokia went down 3-1 to Black Virus who is one of the favourites to snatch the NCC title.#Black Virus club is dominated by Labasa district team reps. #The 2010 RC Manubhai/Southern Forest National Club Championship continues on Saturday.
