This afternoon our Kappa Fiji U20 side face their toughest task in the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) U20 World Cup playoffs when they battle against New Zealand. #I would like to congratulate the U20 players and team management for the vital wins over Vanuatu and New Caledonia which has seen us in range of winning the OFC U20 playoffs. #We have a chance to qualify for our first ever FIFA World Cup and this is just within reaching distance. #Our task is simple, we cannot lose to the undefeated New Zealand side this afternoon and then it is Papua New Guinea on Friday. #I would like to thank the general public who has come out in numbers for the past two Fiji matches and we need similar support this afternoon at Churchill Park. #Fiji-NZ clash will be live on FBC TV and this is a unique opportunity for fans outside the Western division to watch our national U20 side play just last weekend when the nation witnessed our rugby 7s side claim glory in Hong Kong. #There is no doubt that the Kappa Fiji side will play their hearts out as they know about the task ahead of them. #We need the prayers and support of the nation as our young lads will be out there trying to edge closer to a berth in Turkey for the FIFA U20 World Cup. #On this note a warm welcome to all the five participating teams for We hope you have enjoyed the local hospitality and a big thank you to OFC for considering Fiji as the venue for this regional meet. #As far as Kappa Fiji U20 side is concerned we have all to play for this afternoon and I’m positive that our troops will do us proud. #Thank You. #
