In the ten year history of the women’s IDC only Ba and capital side Suva have won the event. #The Labasa side was finally rewarded after losing in the final to Suva last year and 2010. #Labasa was rewarded with the first prize money of $1000 while Lautoka walked away with $500. #Labasa coach Arthur Simmons said the teams hardwork finally paid off. #”This was our third year in a row to reach the final and we were not going to settle for second best yet again .
