Teams learn their Fate

The pool draws of the second major Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) tournament was conducted earlier today at JJ’s on the Park Conference Room in Suva. #Rewa which has won the last four major titles (2010 Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants, 2010 Courts Inter District Championship, 2011 Pillay Garments Champions League and the 2011 Vodafone Fiji FACT) are in pool one with heavyweights Ba, Lautoka, Labasa and underdogs Nadroga. #Pool two consists of Navua, Savusavu, Tavua, Nadi and Suva. #The 2011 Inkk Mobile BOG will be held August 11-14 at the Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori. The first round of matches will be held a week prior to the showdown with venues yet to be confirmed. #It was all smiles for Fiji FA as Inkk Mobile is now in their third year of sponsorship.#Nathan Hildebrand the CJ Patel Group of Companies marketing manager was present at the pool draws. He said they are pleased to have joined hands with Fiji FA and believes the passion of local football fans will drive towards the success of the event which paved a perfect way to market their products and gain maximum mileage. #Hildebrand also revealed the various incentives that were in line for the fans. #“We will be offering a text promotion whereby we will be giving away $50,000 worth of talk time. There will be gift hampers and 350 Inkk Mobile BOG tickets given away which has been provided by Fiji FA,” he said.#Fiji FA chief executive officer Bob Kumar, said the 2011 Inkk Mobile BOG was shaping up to be a successful event. #“As time goes by the Inkk Mobile BOG like other tournament is growing from strength to strength. Fans will be out in numbers to support their districts and no doubt this will be yet another successful tournament. #“We are thankful to Inkk Mobile for their continued support. They will be continuing with us for the next two years as announced last year.
