Nadroga bow Out

Despite a strong start to their Inkk BOG campaign with a sounding 1-0 victory over Energizer Ba, the Stallions failed to maintain their rhythm which saw them loss their three matches against Labasa, Lautoka and today Rewa. #A win over Rewa could have kept them in the hunt for a berth in the semi final but Nadroga came undone. #Seven minutes from the half time whistle Lorima Dau from a corner kick slotted in the first goal. In the second half referee Finau Vulivuli awarded a penalty to Rewa. #Player/Coach Marika Rodu made no mistake in finding the back of the net. The win was a crucial for Rewa as they now need only a draw against Lautoka later in the evening to advance to the playoffs. #Full Time: Eveready Airpro Rewa 2 Sunquick Nadroga 0#Rewa Goals: Lorima Dau 23”; Marika Rodu 36”#Rewa Cautions: Kelepi Qaqa 38’; George Lui 43’# Nadroga Caution: Samuela Drudru 28’; Isikeli Jeke Keli 33’; Krishneel Dutt 55’, Sireli Guivalu 60+2#12.30pm Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori#Rewa: 1.
