This comes as the 2010 Fiji Sun/Weet-Bix National Premier division Football League champion defeated super premier side Nasinu in the first match of the 2010 Promotion/Relegation series this afternoon at Subrail Park, Labasa. #A 25th minute first half goal by Taniela Levea proved to be the match winner for Savusavu who held strong in the second spell to deny Nasinu an equalizer.#Heavy afternoon down pour made things difficult for both sides with referee Rajnish Dave suspending the match in the 35th minute only to resume it 18 minutes later as conditions improved. #None the less Savusavu enjoyed the victory and now look forward to the return leg scheduled to be played next Sunday at the TFL National Stadium in Suva. #Savusavu President Jabid Hussein says losing will not be an option for them next weekend as they look to rub shoulders with the big boys in the super premier division in 2011. #“It was a good victory for us but the rain made things difficult. Otherwise I believe we could have scored more goals. We are now looking forward to the next match where we will come prepared and going for a win,” Hussein said. #Full Time: Savusavu 1 Nasinu 0#Sunday October 24, 2010#Promotion/Relegation#Subrail Park, Labasa#Savusavu Goal: (Taniela Levea 25”): Savusavu Caution: (Taniela Levea 70’)#Nasinu Caution: (Leone Damudamu 40’), (Summet Krishan 76’)#Fiji FA MEDIA#
