Auckland City drew the first blood into the match when Manel Exposito scored for the city in the 16 minute of the play. #Roy “The Rocket” Krishna missed few of the chances to level the scores but could not find the target as he was heavily marked by City defenders. #Krishna took full advantage of Chad Coombes’s cross and contorled the ball well on his chest and sent a powerful shot to the top right to on the 30 minute to level the scores 1-all which is believed to be the goal of the season.#Waitakere United took a lead two minutes later with, the competition’s all-time leading goal-scorer Allan Pearce clinical header which gave United some relief which the Auckland goalie Tamati Williams could not prevent the ball going into the net. #Waitakere enjoyed the lead at the half time and were counting their lucky stars after a blunder in the first half which gave City their first goal of the match.#Auckland playing off side trap was doing well for the side and caught Krishna offside on numerous occasions at the back as Waitkere United dominated the play in the second half. #Manel Exposito scored his second in the 74th minute and the crucial one for his side as the clock ticked away towards the full time. #Simon Arms were given the marching orders by the referee Peter O’Leary for brining Krishna down from behind as around 1600 crowd were entertained with the skills and the best football. # #Auckland City took a lead in the dying stages of the match 3-2 and when it seemed it was all over for Waitakere United Labasa lad Krishna stepped up to the occasion and sent the match in the extra time with the Roy scoring on the 90th minute mark. #Six minutes of injury time were played but the teams were locked at 3-3. #It was the brilliance of Allan Pearce who gave Waitakere fourth championship title with the similar like goal he scored earlier in the match.#At the end of the match Roy Krishna took his goal scoring tally to 19 and the youngster was awarded with the golden boot.# Fiji FA Media#
