The Nakasi-based side topped the southern division playoffs knocking off sides like Suva Sangam and Vashist Muni. #Their technical advisor Rizwan Wasim who also was the assistant coach for the national under-17 side to the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) U17 FIFA World Cup playoffs earlier this year says the qualification has healed their wounds after an unsuccessful outing at the Tuckers sponsored Secondary School nationals last month. #During the Southern playoffs Nasinu Muslim beat Suva Sangam 4-0 and later drew with Vashist Muni 0-0. #Wasim, said the task was now to make a mark at the Courts IDC which will be held from October 6-10th at the TFL National Stadium in Suva. #“This is an achievement for the side,”Wasim said. #“At the national secondary schools competition we were not able to get the job done but the Southern playoffs gave us a chance to redeem ourselves. I would like to thank the boys for the effort which saw us qualify for the Courts IDC.”#The likes of former national U17 rep Seteraki Hughes and 10 other players who are part of the United One club participating in the Rewa Football Association Local League competition make up the strong Nasinu Muslim squad. #“Like any other side we will also preparing to go out there in the Courts IDC and win. The unity and team bonding is present amongest the boys. The task is just to guide them well and hopefully we excel. I would also like to thank the Nasinu Muslim College management for all their support,” Wasim said. #Four division of competition will be played at the Courts IDC that is the Super Premier, Premier, Secondary and Primary Schools. #Fiji FA MEDIA#
