Tavua Youth make a comeback

Despite facing problems in travelling to Lautoka last Sunday it took a while for the Tavua side to settle in the match.
The rejuvenated Tavua came twice from behind to beat Lautoka 4-3 at home and register its first win in the youth competition.
Tavua Youth coach master Salen Kumar breathed the sigh of relieve after the final whistle as it could have gone either way.
Kumar got transferred from Suva to Tavua a week ago and did perform a miracle with the team.
“We were not organised in the first half but the players picked up the momentum and scored the much needed goals and it is a big achievement for me as I took over the coaching role a week ago. Kumar said.
He also added that he changed the training method of the team which resulted in a win and football in Tavua is reviving.
Tavua Youth is on third position in the Fiji Sun G P Batteries National Youth League standing.
