Lautoka following a convincing 2-1 victory over Koloale of Solomon Islands will be out for nothing less than a victory against Amicale of Vanuatu this Saturday 3pm at Govind Park.
Amicale will indeed enter the O-League encounter with confidence especially after upsetting defending champions Hekari United on match day one. Koloale however travels to Papua New Guinea to face Hekari United 3pm PMRL Stadium.
In Group B Auckland City battles rivals Waitakere United at Fred Taylor Park. AS Magenta face AS Tefana Stade at Numa Daly. Both matches kick off 3pm.
Meanwhile local trio will assist Solomon Islands referee John Saohu during the 2010-2011 O-League clash at Govind Park.
The trio includes Andrew Achari as fourth official, Ashwin Kumar (assistant referee) and Ravinesh Kumar (assistant referee) who last month successfully completed the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Elite referees course in New Zealand.
Achari and Kumar have also been selected to officiate at the upcoming 2011 OFC U-17 playoffs in New Zealand.
On the other hand Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) chief executive officer Bob Kumar will act as the general coordinator while Chandra Segran the referee’s assessor.
