Ba defeated Kit Kat Southern Forest Navua 2-1 to win the National Football League title for the 16th time.
Coming in the match odds were stacked against Ba who needed only a win over Navua side to regain the League after missing out last year. The western giants rose to their occasions to end the League season with 51 points while 2009 champions Weet-Bix Shop N Save Lautoka finished second with 50 points.
Isimeli Naresia put Ba ahead in the 19th minute and later in the second were awarded a penalty. Avinesh Waran Suwamy was on target giving Ba a handy 2-0 lead.
Navua regrouped and forward Joseph Mishra pulled one back for his side in the 76th minute but failed to equalize.
Southern giants Navua settled for third place in the National Football League with 44 points.
Elsewhere in the other two matches played on Sunday Bic Power Electric Suva beat Skippy U-20 2-0 while Tim Tam Tavua thumped the Puma Labasa 7-0 at Garvey Park.
With the National Football League season over the focus now turn towards the 2010 Courts IDC.
