Rokocoko inspires Fiji Under-20

Rokocoko visited the national U20 team camp last week and Fiji U20 manager Sheik Ibrahim says the players and team management were thrilled with the presence of the world renowned winger.
“There is a church group in NZ which has members from Fiji. Rokocoko is a member of that group which came in to conduct church services for the team. Rokocoko’s wife was a regular member so she invited him to pay a visit to the team. Everyone in camp was excited to meet Rokocoko in person,” he said.
“The presence of Rokocoko has no doubt inspired the boys as we prepare for our opening match. In his address he talked about his struggles and path he followed to reach the peak of his wonderful rugby career and how his family migrated to NZ when he was just five years old.
“He stressed the importance of discipline both on and off the field, which he believed was is a very important factor. His message has inspired our players to set their goals and give their best to do the job we are here for.”
Ibrahim says the national U-20 were also treated to the Auckland Blues -New South Wales Waratahs Super 15 rugby match last Friday night as they were invited by Rokocoko.
