A report in the Vanuatu Daily Post elaborated further.
“In only his first outing for Vanuatu Champions, Kautoga is already a crowd favorite, as every move that he makes on the pitch will no doubt draw loud whistles from the fans.
In his first appearance for Amical FC Kautoga displayed role of a great defender with both speed and perfect timing, but most importantly, bringing the much-needed height department that has been lacking for the champion club.
The report goes on to further state that the former Labasa defender seemed to have settled in well.
Daily Sports caught up with Kautonga after the game to get his feel about his transfer and future prospect of playing football for Amical FC, and this is what the Fijian international has to say, “I would like to thank Amical FC management for having an interest in me and especially the players who have welcomed me with open hands to assist me to settle down with the Vanuatu Champion Club.
