Five matches will be played in the first week with only Ba excused due to their O-League commitments.
Southern sides Suva and Navua kick off the league season when they clash at TFL National Stadium this Friday at 7.30pm.
On Saturday the official opening takes place at Prince Charles Park whereby host Nadi battles Rewa, 3.30pm. Opening takes place at 3pm.
Other matches on Saturday sees an under strength Labasa play Tavua at Subrail Park and later in the afternoon Lautoka travel to Lawaqa Park to face Nadroga.
Lone match on Sunday will see Tavua face Savusavu at Ratu Ganilau Park.
An Under-21 match between Nadroga and Lautoka will also be played this Saturday prior to their senior district side’s clash.
Fiji Football Association League board chairman Shiek Ibrahim anticipates a successful first round of matches.
