NCC scheduled for November

Bob Kumar the Fiji FA chief executive officer says the club championship will be played over two weekends. He confirmed the zonal playoffs will be held next month from 20-21 November with the finals scheduled, November 27-28.
“Fiji FA intends to hold the National Club Championship, commencing in zonal basis (Southern/Western/Northern Zone). The tournament is open to the top two clubs from the highest level of competition (Local League) from each district.
“The qualification of clubs is conditioned upon districts completing their full round of club competition. As approved by the Fiji FA Board of control the first round of games will be played on zonal basis, where clubs will compete within their respective zone to determine the qualifiers for the final playoffs which will be played on the following weekend,” Kumar said.
The Fiji FA CEO says districts not able to complete their club competition in time will be ineglible to feature in the 2010 National Club Championship.
“Nominations from districts with incomplete club competition shall not be accepted. We urge the district associations to submit their nominees before Monday November 8 2010,”Kumar said.
